35 Words – Violated

On January 20, 2021, Donald J. Trump stood on the West Front of the US Capitol and took an oath for the office he was about to assume:

“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”

Yesterday, a Special Prosecutor filed a 49-page Indictment citing multiple violations of the Espionage Act.

In it, Trump convicts Trump.  His own words.  His own deeds.  His own people.  His own property.  Together they detail serial violations of espionage.

Preserve?  Protect?
