Let’s start with the recent Oath Keepers’ leak, which opened the door to who the Jan. 6th insurrectionists really are. The Far-Right Extremist Oath Keepers have more than 3,300 members in Texas, more than in any other state. Among them is Oath Keepers founder and leader Stewart Rhodes, a Texan who was arrested in January for “conspiring to oppose the transfer of presidential power by force.”
The TX membership includes senior law enforcement officials, county-level elected officials, and former military. The primary goal of the Oath Keepers is to foster a revolution, i.e., to overthrow the Constitution of the United States of America.
