Should Presidents be above the law?

By March 1, 2024No Comments

Think about it as you read the words “ABOVE THE LAW.” Remember when Trump said, “I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and I wouldn’t lose any voters, OK?”

If he “shot somebody,” would that be OK?  Or how about if he used our hard-earned tax money to buy a private golf course for himself?  Would that be OK?  Or what about when a foreign government offers him or his family billions of dollars if he would just do “X” or “Y.” Would that be OK?

“The US Supreme Court has agreed to hear a ground-breaking legal case that promises to rock the 2024 election.  The case relates to former president Donald Trump and presidential immunity, specifically whether a former US president has to answer to civil and criminal charges against them.”
