Yeman’s Houthi fighters are attacking merchant and commercial ships in the Red Sea shipping lanes. The fighters are backed by Iran. The U.S. and the UK are conducting air strikes with the additional support of the Netherlands, Canada, and Bahrain, to protect global shipping.
