336 votes to 95 — House avoids shutdown temporarily

The good thing?  The government will stay open until mid-January.

The bad thing?   Johnson’s deal does not fund either Ukraine or Israel spending.  Both are crucial.

229 Democrats and 127 Republicans voted to keep the government open, extending funding until January 19.  Senate Majority Leader Schumer and Senate Minority Leader McConnell both endorsed the plan.
