Court Settlement $$$ Help Rural Ohio Country Fight Opioid Epidemic

“Most of that money comes with a requirement that it be used to address the overdose crisis and prevent more deaths.”  The legal settlement offers $50 Billion to be shared by communities devasted by opioid addictions, with the caveat that most of the money must be focused on the overdose crisis and also to prevent more deaths.  Rural Hancock County, Ohio, “with the help of the federally funded Addiction Technology Transfer Center that stressed recovery” and the understanding that addicted people are family and friends who need both help and compassion.
