The “Waiting Game in Indiana”

In August 2022, the Indiana General Assembly passed Senate Enrolled Act 1, which banned abortions in Indiana with limited exceptions.  The Indiana Supreme Court put a hold on that law in September.  Until the Court rules, abortion is safe and legal in Indiana. Still, Indiana’s women remain under the threat that a court decision could reduce reproductive rights, but they aren’t sitting still.

Women4Change has teamed up with Hoosiers to help women from across Indiana deliver more than 500 advocacy messages to Indiana legislators in the past year, including more than 200 hand-written letters.
