The House was not in Session today, nor will it be tomorrow. But the war between House Republican conservatives and Speaker McCarthy goes on. At the moment, it appears that the eleven (which grew to 15) who shut down votes on two signature bills this week and forced Speaker McCarthy to cancel votes the rest of the week. The battle is not over, but McCarthy’s leadership is on the line.
