After three state legislators stood up for gun safety after three nine-year-olds and three adults were murdered in a Christian school, Republican state legislators tried to kick them out of the State House. The two Black men were kicked out and their ally, a White woman prevailed by one vote. President Biden has invited the Three to the White House and VP Harris joined them in Tennessee.
TN State Rep. Joshua Bodwell has his job back for now, and on Wednesday, the decision will be made whether presently “former” State Rep. Justin Pearson will bet his back. The Tennessee Three are Democrats, and the Majority in the State House are Republicans.
