JBS, the World’s Largest Meat Packer, Is Accused of Fraud

“JBS sold more than $3 billion worth of ‘green bonds’ in the U.S., but a watchdog group says its impact on Amazon forests belies its pledges.”  JBS USA, based in Greeley, Colorado, is the 3rd largest meat packing company in the US, and is the American offshoot of Brazilian meat producers JBS S.A. JBS S.A., including all of its JBS operations, is the largest meat producer in the world.
