Green Banks?

Green Banks provide funding for climate-friendly projects.  The funding comes from mostly federal sources that can be used to attract private capital.  Loans must still be repaid but sometimes allow payments to be spread over more years.

Some states already have either new Green Banks up and running or are startind to create these new banks in the works, e.g., New Mexico, Connecticut, Illinois, Alaska, Colorado, and South Caroline.  More are expected to
