Whew! Congress Passed the Omnibus!!!

This is good news.  The next steps are for the House to enroll the Bill and send it to the President.  Once the President signs it, the federal government will be funded for the coming year — No Shutdowns!  The Senate passed the Omnibus bill 68-29.  In the House, nine Republicans joined the Democrats to pass the bill.  Overall, both votes show bipartisan support.
