Ukraine – Not a Lull, but Preparing for the Next Sequence

By September 19, 2022No Comments

So far, so good.  In September, Ukrainian soldiers took back about 6,000 sq. miles that Putin’s war has stolen from Ukraine.  Now, the Ukrainians are planning their next “take back,” in which they must defend the towns and countryside they just re-captured and “take back” more Ukrainian territory.  Among the many challenges they face are Iran’s drones and new Russian “soldiers” who were “recruited,” i.e., released from prison, to fight Ukraine.

The U.S. and all of Europe have wisely united in supporting Ukraine.  It is a fight particularly important to all the Western World since Putin’s commitment against Ukraine is only his beginning.  The Putin war strategy looks like how WWII started — just one more country and then another, and another for the Axis allies.   The best way to stop this insatiable hunger is to stand strong in the beginning.
