Jane Fleming Kleeb is the Chair of the Nebraska Democratic Party, a DNC Executive Committee Member, and the President of the Bold Alliance–a network of grassroots organizations working in rural states to protect land and water from risk-laden corporate projects. She is also a founding Board Member of the progressive political action organization Our Revolution. Kleeb was dubbed the “Keystone Killer” by Rolling Stone Magazine for her successful decade-long battle against the Keystone XL Pipeline. Her book Harvest the Vote: How Democrats Can Win Again in Rural America provides a roadmap for the future of the Democratic Party and concrete ideas on how the Party can transition from investing in a handful of states to standing up for small towns and rural communities of all backgrounds. Kleeb graduated from Stetson University in DeLand, Florida and American University in Washington, DC.
