James “Jim” Golden has a tremendous service history working on both the federal and state levels. He is particularly interested in using his experience to help voters understand how they can defend our democracy while also ensuring U.S. elections are fair and trustworthy. Golden has held numerous senior-level positions: Director of Research at the National Association of Counties; Secretary to the Governor of Pennsylvania; Deputy Secretary of State at the Pennsylvania Department of State, and Interim Director and Assistant Director for the White House Conference on Aging in Washington, DC. Originally from Guthrie, Kentucky, Golden now lives in Alexandria, Virginia.
