By September 13, 2024No Comments

Vice President Harris has …

  • Helped to cap insulin costs at $35 per month, limiting
out-of-pocket prescription drug expenses to $2,000 annually
and still working to bring down the cost of more lifesaving drugs for
    all Americans.
  • Helped more than 43,000 farmers and ranchers with straightforward loan
debt and stay on their farms.
  • Expanded access to health care and disability benefits for
over 4.4 million veterans in rural areas through the passage of
    the PACT Act.
  • Invested $2.1 billion to help thousands of farms and small
businesses lower energy costs and generate new income
through investments in renewable energy sources.
  • Kept childcare providers in business during the
pandemic, investing in nearly 30,000 childcare programs in
    rural communities.
  • Is expanding high-speed internet to 622,000 people and
counting in rural areas, investing $90 billion to ensure everyone
in America has access to reliable, affordable, high-speed internet.

The Harris-Walz plan calls for lowering grocery costs by advancing the first-ever federal ban on price gouging on food
and groceries for companies that exploit crises and break the rules, while cracking down on unfair mergers and acquisitions
that undermine competition and drive food prices up.
