A good defense always needs to be paired with a strategy for offense. Previously, Ukraine’s offense has been limited by its Western World allies, but this limitation is changing. Kyiv’s attack on Russia’s Kursk region was a surprise to the Russian military and to its people in the nearby region. More than 200,000 were evacuated. However, across greater Russia, Putin and his “public relations” teams are doing their best to keep the attack secret. It appears that most Russians do not have a clue about the truth of this war, Russia’s role as the aggressor, or even how many Russian troops have been squandered.
