Hey Nebraska Farmers! File this under “mistakes were made”

Consider this: Nebraska farmers are “among the world’s best at producing corn, soybeans, cattle, and hogs. Can Nebraska’s sparse population consume all of these crops and meat? NO.  What Nebraska farmers truly need are tariff-free markets.

Their primary market is Mexico, close by and easily linked through north-south rail lines. Creighton University economics professor Ernie Goss has predicted that if Mexico retaliates in response to Trump’s tariffs, Nebraska will be “in the eye of the tiger” concerning the impacts.
