Senators are asking more questions about Pete Hegseth, Trump’s Pentagon nominee. Although Hegseth’s work record does not qualify him to be Secretary of Defense, this week’s spotlight is primarily on his drinking bouts and new allegations sworn to by Hegseth’s ex-sister-in-law. The eight-page sworn affidavit describes him as not only having a drinking problem but also being prone to aggressive outbursts, racist remarks, and possibly physical abuse.
