North to South Migration — Will it affect the election?

When voters move from one state to another, they take their politics with them. For Senator Jon Tester and Montana, this means that new residents moved to Montana during the COVID crisis and shut down, bringing money, urbanism, and sometimes left-leaning politics to mountain towns like Bozeman. In Texas, the population has changed for the eastern, more populated side of the state, creating a challenge for Senator Ted Cruz’s re-election effort.
