Do people actually eat other people’s pets in Ohio?

Facebook users are marking their pets “safe” on Facebook.  CNN reports:  VP candidate JD Vance defended Trump’s  false claims about Haitian immigrants eating the pets of residents in Springfield, Ohio, in an interview with CNN’s Dana Bash on “State of the Union.”
