The goal is to stop Russian troops’ attacks on the Kharkiv region. Ukraine can win this war against Russia’s many invasions, but only if we — the Western World, stand behind the fight to save Ukraine. The benefits to us are many, e.g., when we help stop Russia, we not only protect democracy in Ukraine but we also protect other small democracies, which Russia has already indicated are next in their country-by-country effort to destroy democracy. In doing so, the end result of Western victory is that we stop Russia from starting WWIII.
Recently 112 Republican Members of Congress voted for Putin and Russia when they said no to weapons for Ukraine. Their votes stood in opposition to democracy everywhere, including keeping the US safe.
