We call this scary … an immoral way to make policy. Agree or disagree about the federal subsidies the oil industry enjoys. Those subsidies come about because a Congress majority wants them. But this! is a combination, “PAY UP” or I will crash your business. “PAY UP,” and I will crash all the environmental subsidies that benefit our planet.
At a minimum, $1 BILLION DOLLARS is a lot and the wrong way for special interests to get the policies they want.
