President Biden announced Tuesday morning that he is seeking a second term as President. In my view, Joe Biden has never been the most exciting or inspiring candidate. In all the years he’s been running for President, he was never my first choice.
But, man, it is really hard to argue with the results he has delivered as President.
He has been one of America’s most successful presidents ever. He has delivered at historically significant levels and done so against a Republican opposition that would rather destroy America than let anyone else govern it.
His Republican opponents are no longer interested in governing for the public good. Sabotage is their game, not just of Biden but of our country and democracy itself.
He inherited a mess, a country in the middle of a deep dive, being governed by a clown car of fools who only knew how to make things worse.
Despite it all, he has prevailed.
Joe Biden’s competence rescued our country. His policies pulled America out of that deep dive and put the country back on course.
Have all our problems been solved? No.
But that is precisely why we need another term from President Biden. We need another four years of his quiet competence, a return of the wrecking crew.
President Biden deserves a second term.
He’s earned it.
America needs it.
His quiet, get the job done, competence has outperformed – by light years – the bombastic, lying, ignorant, and bigoted buffoonery of his predecessor, the orange monster whose name shall not be spoken.
