The Future of Good Jobs will come from New Technologies

States are vying for money from the U.S. Department of Energy to start ‘hydrogen hubs.’  What are they?

On 10i/24/22, The Missouri Independent noted how discussions about cutting CO2 emissions have focused on electricity, but this approach does not seem promising for airplanes and ocean-going ships.

Hydrogen, however, is a plausible alternative fuel.  The U.S. Department of Energy will spend $7 billion from the bipartisan Infrastructure Bill to develop new technologies that produce “green hydrogen,” i.e., without producing CO2.   If successful, not only would the cost of energy fall, but many jobs would also be created.
