So what’s Christian nationalism? Its 2022 model requires school policies to impose a specific religious ideology on all students. If put into practice, the doctrine leaves out all faiths other than the Christian Nationalist ideology that restricts every religion except for their favored one. Students growing up in homes where moderate mainstream Christians, Catholics, Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, and atheists practice different faiths would all be subjected to the one favored religion. Medical and scientific issues related to health, when the earth and the planets came into being, and human rights that include the expectation that all people — no matter the color or the gender, must be treated with dignity would be banned. School Board members would spend tax money (formerly spent on public schools) to pay only for Christian nationalist schools.
