There is more to imagine, e.g., a rant about taxation and then a hefty bill to give more tax breaks to the truly rich. I wonder how many houses in how many countries and how many cars in their attached garages are necessary for these richest of the rich? Is there no limit?
Imagine more drilling, more decisions requiring Government to be the correct entity to decide women’s health care and children’s rights to play sports. Imagine more fights at the school board meetings about books we have been reading for years — To Kill a Mocking Bird, 1984, The Catcher in the Rye, Brave New World, and so many more. One Texas Congressman has a list of 800 books he wants to ban. And now imagine keeping all these secrets from your teenagers, as if they have never known anyone gay or Black.
