Think about it like getting a flu shot. Once a year, the flu shot gets updated, and we all file into the drug store and get the update. Now, it looks like COVID vaccinations are on the same path. The “vax” has been updated to reflect the Omicron variation. The next step, once federal regulations catch up, COULD put us on the path of needing to get an annual vaccination — one arm, then the other arm.
Assuming we get this right, more than one million hospitalizations and 100,000 deaths could be avoided.
