This week, the House Agriculture Committee asked for feedback towards developing the next Farm Bill, the Farm Bill 2023. Chairman David Scott (D-Georgia) was quoted in the Hagstrom Report as saying, “I strongly encourage all who are interested to share their input on how the 2018 farm bill is or is not meeting their needs so that we, at the House Agriculture Committee, can craft a strong farm bill and best meet the needs of people.”
This form offers the public the formal opportunity to comment on the bill. Please consider submitting your feedback. Your submission can focus on farm program issues, but remember that about 80% of the USDA’s budget is related to nutrition worldwide, and the Farm Bill also deals with research and rural development.
