Daniel (Dan) A. Silverstein is the principal for Heuristic Management, where he specializes in strategic advice on private sector engagement, capital markets activities, and impact investments in agricultural and economic development to U.S. government agencies, donor aid agencies, embassies, ministries, research centers, universities, and corporations. He is the founder of Ag Salon, an international alliance of thought-leaders and exceptional young professionals, affording him access to hundreds of the world’s leading practitioners in agricultural development, nutrition, One Health, and related fields. Silverstein is also an Adjunct Professor at the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC, where he teaches graduate-level courses on the international politics of nutritional security. He serves on advisory boards at the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy at Tufts University, Iowa State University, and the Hillwood Estate, Museum, and Garden.
